Avinash Gaikwad (1963) is a poet, playwright, actor and director based in Thane. He has published two poetry collections Janjaal (1999) and Ajunahi Aswast Rohini (2008). He has written and directed a play Appa ani Gangwar (1988). He has also scripted and directed a short film The Hunger (2016). He is curating and publishing online (YouTube) a show Avinash barobar kavitechya jagat where he introduces a poet writing in Marathi every Saturday.
